The charms of Werribee Mansion and Park are well known but not so many people are  aware that behind the mansion lies an authentic farm dating from the early 19 c. There  is a the homestead and various cottages. A blacksmith's shop and other farm buildings.  As the map shows, you will find wonderful gardens here. This is a community garden  looked after by various groups in the community. There is also a Heritage Orchard that fell into disrepair but has been brought back to life growing many original and rare species.
